What is the Chiseled Lifestyle?

Switching up your routine to be more fitness-oriented isn’t complex. When it becomes a lifestyle, however, that is when every little thing adds up.

What is the fitness lifestyle? It’s more than just waking up early, eating healthy, getting a good night’s sleep, and hitting the gym. That’s definitely a part of it though–I’m not going to lie to you. Getting your dream body and maintaining it requires an unimaginable amount of discipline. It may even take years to get where you’d want to be. It sounds daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.

The cool thing about fitness is that it’s not a whole cookie-cutter package, meaning you don’t have to do what everyone else does in order to see results or feel better.  Once you have your mindset on cultivating a healthier lifestyle, you’ll begin to see just how much you can improve by implementing tiny steps in your everyday life

1. Sticking to a fulfilling and healthy diet will pay off.

You can eat what you want and still get the results you want. Start by cutting down on eating out.  It can introduce a lot of fats or unnecessary ingredients that don’t do your body right. All that really takes is using getting another meal at the grocery store. It saves you money and teaches you how to cook for yourself in the long run.

Eventually, you’ll start cooking more and eating out less. Once you start eating healthier and working out consistently, you’ll start feeling better and seeing faster results. Conducting a meal plan to follow your macro targets will help you stay organized.

2. Workout

Once you find out what workouts feel the best and get a routine down, your workouts will feel better and yield quicker results. Consider swapping out an exercise here and there to switch up your workouts so they don’t get stale.

Lifting can be strenuous on your body if done incorrectly. Make sure you take the time and research whether or not you’re performing your exercises with its max extension. Learn the correct form and push yourself when applicable. With the help of social media, you can get a good idea of form and even full targeted workouts on Instagram or Youtube.

3. Consistency and Keeping Yourself Accountable

Whether you go with lifting buddies or go solo, consistent exercise will gradually feel better. Getting into the daily groove of waking up early and going to the gym on a consistent basis will feel natural after a while. If you really want to go the extra level and drop your body fat percentage to a minimum, going nearly every day is a must.

4. Mental Health and Rest

Having a more demanding schedule takes time to get right and can be mentally exhausting. Make sure that you still have time for yourself throughout the day. Practicing healthy mindfulness will help declutter your mind and provides a mental reset. There are meditations on Youtube or you can even download one of the many meditation apps like Calm or Headspace.

Lastly, make sure you’re getting an adequate amount of rest. Although working out is great for your body, taking a rest day will give your muscles a chance to recover. It is also important to make sure you’re getting a healthy amount of sleep.

In the end, your relationship with fitness shouldn’t be restrictive or boring. Improving yourself starts from within. Once you start seeing progress and results, you can only go up from there.
